We work with reputable suppliers and to ensure that our products are produced under acceptable working conditions, all our major suppliers are audited following the SEDEX Smeta scheme.

Quality control

Quality control

All Filofax products conform to relevant recognised standards of quality and we undertake inspections of all products to determine that these quality standards are implemented effectively at our suppliers. All inspections are conducted using proven ISO Quality Management standards and are undertaken by our own QC teams.

Here at Filofax we are keen to give employees a voice and our flat management structure ensures their views and ideas can be aired and discussed directly with company decision-makers. We believe that communication is a two-way process and our CEO spearheads staff communication of company news and updates via his written monthly briefings.

Charitable causes

Charitable causes

We have raised over £750,000 for the charity, Breast Cancer Campaign, by donating money raised through the sale of a special pink personal organiser. More recently we have established a partnership with Springboard for Children, a charity that works within schools to help children who are struggling to read and write. Donations are made to both charities from the sale of every organiser.

We listen to our consumers through social forums, product reviews and regular research and encourage all types of feedback. We like to hear when we’ve got things right but it’s also important to know when we could do better. An internal review process ensures that all feedback is heard and considered.

We want to offer the best customer service and user experience on our website. You will not find a wider range of Filofax products, more detailed information, community and advice in one place anywhere else. And, in the event that you need our help, you will find our customer service representatives efficient and helpful with excellent product knowledge.

Our objective is to minimise any environmental impact through a progressive environmental policy covering all areas of our business:

— the design, sourcing and manufacture of our products
— the working conditions in our suppliers’ factories


All of our papers are sourced from mills that obtain wood related raw materials from well managed sources. We are an FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified company licence no. C018038. Our ongoing aim, where practicable, is to introduce new paper based products that are manufactured and managed under the umbrella of FSC ® or other reputable agencies.

No restricted chemicals are used in the manufacture of Filofax products.


The majority of our packaging can be recycled and we are continually reviewing our practices and specifications to minimise any adverse environmental impact.

Our distribution warehouse complies with prevailing legislation regarding the recycling of packaging waste.


All leathers used in Filofax products are a by-product of the food industry. We do not use hides from animals that have been bred specifically for leather production.
